Statistical Data Availability
The NHGIS Data Finder provides access to tabulations for school attendance areas derived from block data in the Census 2010 Summary File 1 and PL 94-171 redistricting file. Additional ancillary data, including information from the National Center for Education Statistics' Common Core of data are provided through the Public School Data section of the website.

GIS Boundary File Availability
School attendance boundary files are provided as shapefiles through the NHGIS Data Finder. These data are available for the following time periods:
- 2009-2010 School Year
- 2010-2011 School Year
- 2011-2012 School Year (Minnesota only)
Geographic Coverage
The school districts covered by SABINS data (both the tables and boundary files) vary among the school years, with the greatest coverage available for 2009-2010. These maps illustrate coverage by year.
